Reflexology for the treatment of pain (TOP)
This unique reflexology treatment focuses on releasing blockages in the muscular tissue to eliminate pain rather than managing it.
A typical one hour session will include exploration, mapping, understanding and treating pain through a combination of techniques including the release of connective tissues and stimulation of the nervous system.
For optimal results (after initial consultation and assessment of condition to treat) I recommend a supplementary 15 minute 'Reflexology in motion' to enhance and deepen your treatment. Specific techniques are applied, using ice packs, small weights or soft balls, whilst moving and manipulating parts of the body and working the corresponding foot reflexes.
Reflexology with Ice
Applying a cold ice pack on the pertinent foot reflex before working on it. (great results treating tennis elbow, frozen shoulder, hip tension etc..)
Just one session can bring more flexibility, reduce pain and give the client more freedom of movement.
Amongst the conditions that can be treated these are a few:
-
Migraines
-
Neck pain
-
Back pain
-
Loss of taste or smell
-
Joint pain
-
Frozen shoulder
-
Sciatica
-
PMS
-
Chronic pain
-
Tight or painful hips and many more....
Reflexology in motion
Using movement whilst working on the foot reflex, enabling deeper work and positive outcome
